Presentation of Nancroix

At 1400m height, the village of Nancroix was the first place of interest of the valley. 

Succeeding the pilgrims of Notre-Dame des Vernettes, the first passionate persons of climbing, mainly British, came the summer to reach the top of Mont Pourri.

One of the first ski lifts of Savoy was built on the meadow up Nancroix. In the sixties, it was the forest warden who passed on his passion of the cross-country skiing and carried Nancroix to become the gateway of one of the most beautiful Nordic area of Haute Tarentaise.

Nancroix  has always been the ideal place of residence for those who want to start their hiking from their accommodation.

You will find in Nancroix the renewed old houses, the pre-war years style villas, new chalets.
