La taxe de séjour Peisey-Vallandry

The visitor’s tax is paid by the holidaymaker. It is entirely dedicated to promoting tourism and hospitality in the area.

Landlord obligations

The law requires landlords to collect this tax on behalf of the local authorities. Therefore, the holiday rental owner must:

  • Be registered with the local council (Cerfa 14004*04 or Cerfa 13566*03).
  • Declare the start of their activity (Cerfa POi, on which basis they receive a SIRET number).
  • Announce the rating level and tax amount in the rental contract.
  • Display the updated visitor’s tax rate in the accommodation.
  • Collect the tax for each stay.
  • Keep a record of collections.
  • Transfer the collected amount three times a year, along with the client list.

Recent Updates

The municipalities of Peisey-Nancroix and Landry, through their joint authority (SIVOM), have appointed a specialised firm to collect the tax in their areas.
