Progression areas in Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry 

The Domaine de Montagne offers beginners the chance to try out the pleasures of skiing and snowboarding, thanks to a Beginner's Pass and progress areas within easy reach of the resort, suitable for all beginner skiers and snowboarders.

3 PROGRESSION COURSES : 

From 2019 onwards, Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry is keen to offer skiers who are just starting out, safe and suitable areas to be able to progress, step by step, respecting the principle of progressiveness. These areas, marked with green banners, are located at Arc 1800, Arc 2000 and Peisey-Vallandry and are designed to be easily accessible. So how do you get there?

Getting to the Peisey-Vallandry Progression Course

This entire area is located at the top of the Vallandry cable car, at the start of the Peisey-Vallandry resort.

Getting to the Arc 1800 Progress Course 

  • Première Glisse : Se rendre en front de neige, sur le tapis roulant installé devant l’école ESF.

  • First turns: Take the Villards gondola on the Arc 1800 snow front, there is a cable car at the top.

  • First descent : Take the Les Villards cable car, on the Arc 1800 snow front, and take the Les Cabanes piste.

Go to the Arc 2000 Progress Course 

  • First Glide: Go to the Arc 2000 snow front, at the start of the "Eldorador" carpet.

  • First turns: Board the Saint Jacques chairlift to take the "Bas KL" piste.

  • Première Descente : Embarquer à bord du télésiège de Saint Jacques et prendre la piste « Saint Jacques »

Easy access from Arc 2000 and Arc 1950 thanks to the Cabriolet gondola which links the 2 resorts.
