Immerse yourself in the authentic world of alpine Beaufort cheese in the heart of the Vanoise National Park!
Meet at 1:30 pm for an afternoon immersed in the mountain atmosphere, in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Aiguille Rousse and facing the majestic Mont Pourri. You'll be welcomed into a family-run mountain pasture, where the passion has been passed down for generations.
Every day, milk from the tarine sheep is transformed on site into Beaufort Chalet d'Alpage, an exceptional cheese. You'll have the chance to witness its production at 4:30 pm in the Entre Deux Nants chalets, before the descent scheduled for 8 pm.
Accessible by car from:
- La Chenarie (Peisey-Nancroix – GAEC Alpin)
- Arc 1800, via the Trans'Arc 1 and 2 ski lifts (Prices: +13 years: €9 / 5-12 years: €7.50 / -5 years: free)
Accessible on foot:
- From La Chenarie or the Pont Baudin car park, follow the trail to the Chalets des Rossets, then continue towards the Col de la Chal and descend to the Entre Deux Nants chalets.
- From Arc 1800, take the Trans'Arc to the Col de la Chal, then descend towards Peisey.
A perfect day to combine nature, local expertise, and picture-postcard scenery!
