DISCOVER THE GO APE TRAIL OF PEISEY-VALLANDRY

Tuesday 1st August - 2pm – Gli'Air Go Ape Trail - Pont Baudin

Located at the gateway of the Vanoise National Park, in an exceptional setting amidst the Mont Pourri, Platières and Bellecôte glaciers, the Gli'Air go ape trail blends discreetly into the landscape. With its varied terrain and 7,000 m² of fragrant larch and spruce forest, there are 112 workshops to suit all levels! With family or friends, the fun is guaranteed! Allow 2 to 3 hours to enjoy all the trails.

On site, there's a snack bar with local produce (paninis, wraps, chips, tenders, home-made Liège waffles, ice creams, soft drinks, etc.) if you want to have lunch or a snack (at your own expense).

PEISEY-VALLANDRY CULTURAL WALK

Wednesday 9th August - 9.30 am - Departure of the Vanoise Express cable car in Peisey-Vallandry

During this hike linking various Baroque buildings, including Notre Dame des Vernettes, our tour guide and mountain leader will combine their knowledge to evoke the treasures of Baroque art and their significance, as well as the surrounding peaks, their composition, the architecture of traditional houses and life in days gone by. A rich programme!

At 9.45am, departure for the 3.5-hour walk, supervised by Antoine DEZE, mountain guide from "Les Balades du Colporteur", and Jean-Marie CHEVRONNET, conference guide.
At 12.30pm, there will be a convivial moment during which everyone will enjoy a packed lunch.
Return to the starting point at the end of the afternoon.

Our advice :
- Be in good physical condition: 7.80km walk with 3h30 of actual walking (249m of ascent and 536m of descent). Not recommended for people with heart or lung problems.
- Bring walking shoes, cap, sun cream and sunglasses, and water for the day's outing.

MOUTAIN AREA GOLF CUP

Tuesday 15th August - from 8:30am – Les Arcs Golf course – Arc 1800

A friendly competition sponsored by the Mountain Area. Beautiful gifts to win: ski and mountain bike passes! Scramble in team of 2, shotgun start over 18 holes. Open to all property owners golfers and all abilities. Green fee provided. Competition fee = 15 € to be paid on site. Prize giving around an aperitif at the “Folie Douce”. Special golf cup offered by ADS Mountain Area (including aperitif). Places are limited!

All participants must be property owners of Les Arcs/Bourg Saint Maurice or Peisey-Vallandry and be licensed by the FFG. GAME TOUR TO DISCOVER THE VILLAGE

Thursday 24th August - 2pm - Tourist Office at Bourg Saint Maurice Train Station

Ready, set, go! Follow the guide and keep your eyes and ears wide open to find out all about Bourg Saint Maurice and its history while having fun. This could be your chance to discover places you've never noticed, alleys you've never trod... The tour is suitable for families and lasts 2 hours.

MTB RIDE - BIKE PARK LES ARCS / PEISEY-VALLANDRY

Tuesday 29th August – Mountain bike outing to the Bike Park – Arc 1800

Meet at 2pm at the Arc Mountain Bike school, ESF chalet, Arc 1800. Outing accompanied by mountain bike instructors to discover the Bike Park to end the summer season on a high note! The mountain bikes as well as the protective equipment and the supervision are provided. Special outing offered by ADS Mountain Area (including aperitif). Places are limited!
