Hello !
I'm Bistou (alias Steeve Delbray), I don't like routine and I don't like to do things the same way as everyone else. I try to make you discover the mountain and snowshoeing in a different way through the Bistou Montagne offers !
Searching for an avalanche transceiver, understanding snow and weather conditions, building a makeshift shelter, securing a victim in a winter mountain environment, raising the alarm...

There are as many concepts as there are dangers in the mountains, and on a hike punctuated by workshops, we'll cover these topics to help you feel more at ease.

We'll spend the day in the mountains looking at a few vital mountain skills from the following list:

Using an avalanche transceiver.

Managing a victim in a specific winter environment.

How to give an effective warning.

Weather, snow conditions and avalanche slopes: how to prepare your outing.

Using a terrain application: map/terrain transposition.

This is a technical outing aimed at people who are committed to their mountaineering and want to take the first step towards becoming autonomous in an off-piste setting.

Topics will be covered according to the needs of each participant, with plenty of theory and discussion.
