VISIT OF LA PEISEROTE MICROBREWERY
Thursday 6th July 2023 - Meet at 5pm at La Peiserote microbrewery in Peisey village
 
Since the summer season 2022, Peisey-Vallandry has the pleasure to have its own beer, La Peiserote, fruit of the work and the passion of Julia Pagès. Julia will show you her micro-brewery in the heart of the village of Peisey and will let you taste her 4 beers, all made with local untreated water! Beers can be purchased on site after the tour.

INTEGRAL RAFTING ISERE
Tuesday 11 July 2023 – Meet at 1.30 pm at the funicular station in Bourg Saint Maurice
 
Transfer by bus to the Arc Aventures White Water Centre. It’s time to throw yourself into the water! Paddle away on an adventure to explore the Upper Tarentaise scenery from the river.Enjoy a convivial boat trip with your crewmates following a varied course of 18 km from the Arc Aventures White Water Centre in Bourg St Maurice to Centron. Each inflatable boat can carry a crew of 7-8 skippered by an instructor-guide.
 
The first section of the exploration as far as «Gothard» enables you to familiarise yourself with the guide’s orders and the movements of the boat. The second section includes the more technical passages through the rapids in Aime and Centron. Between the two rapids, the water is calmer passing through the «gorges de la Pucelle».
Duration of the trip depending on the flow rate of the water: about 2 hrs. Return to the centre: 5.30 / 5.45 pm.
 
Trip laid on free by ADS (ski lifts Co.): long wetsuit bottoms and boots, helmet and life jacket supplied by Arc Aventures + depending on the weather, windbreaker jackets are available.
Before departure: Issue of equipment, introduction from the instructor-guide and crew training, crew briefing from each guide on the techniques and instructions to be followed throughout the trip. Participants’ sports bags containing their change of kit are stowed in the baggage compartment of the bus. At the end of the trip: Sports bags are delivered to the arrival point in Centron; the return to the Arc Aventures White Water Centre is by bus + transfer to the funicular. Kit to bring with you: sports bag with a change of kit + swimming costume and towel. Do not bring anything of value.
 
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
- Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25m and to submerge entirely (swimming test on the way downstream). At the end of the «Discovery» course, only the instructor-guides are qualified to assess which participants have the technical and physical qualities to continue the trip.
- Activity open to those aged over 14 (or over 12 with the participation of a parent or responsible adult per 2 children)
- Hold public liability insurance
- All participants complete and sign an "Information & Certification" form: adults complete their own forms + parental consent for minors.

SPECIAL TOUR OF VULMIX FORT - SUNNY SIDE
Tuesday 18th July 2023 - Meet at 2pm in Vulmix (At the end of the Fort road)
 
Take a tour of the secret underground passages, lit up by each of your lamps to recreate the atmosphere of the time. After the annexation of Savoy to France in 1860, Italy posed a threat and in 1888 France created the Alpine troops and a system of protection stretching from the Jura to Nice : the Séré de Rivière line. Construction of the Vulmix fort began in 1890 to prevent any passage through the Tarentaise valley and over the Petit Saint-Bernard pass.

Behind the scenes of the SKI AREA: how «reasonable grooming » works

How do you reconcile tourist activities and respect for the mountain environment?
Ski resorts have a poor ecological reputation. However, solid, and sustainable actions are already in place in les Arcs/Bourg Saint Maurice and Peisey-Vallandry.
 
Experts who are passionate about our resorts invite you to a moment of sharing and discussion about the essential ecological objectives and their work.
Welcome snack in the ADS Technical Centre at 4.00 pm
Presentation in French of the environmental actions at resort level and in the ski area with a focus on «reasonable grooming», little QUIZ with prizes to be won, guided tour and explanation of how a piste-grooming machine works.
