Old pilgrimage path between the parish church and the sanctuary. Beautiful houses in Le Frenet, flowery meadows
Start 50 m downstream from the church, steeply uphill to the road above the Arche cross. Cross the road and reach the Frenet, a superbly restored hamlet. The path is flat until Dou du Sé (cross and bench). Join the track upstream towards Pracompuet. Take the path upstream again towards the hamlet of Combe-la Fontaine, then Les Vernettes.
On the way back down, you can choose to go down to the hamlet of Pracompuet (St Jacques chapel). Then take the downhill pastoral track and take the path on the right at the first bend. You will reach the Dou du Sé cross. Return to Peisey by the uphill path or go down the hazelnut path to Les Amis et Moulin.
On the whole of this slope: many paths and pastoral tracks that you must not leave: there are also cliffs!
