VALLANDRY PANORAMIC TERRACE
At an altitude of 2,130 m, the Vallandry Panoramic Terrace offers outstanding views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks. Accessible to both pedestrians and skiers via the Vallandry gondola lift, this welcoming area is perfect for relaxing, with its deckchairs, picnic tables and comfortable indoor space.
While you're here, don't miss the Mountain Wildlife Museum, dedicated to Alpine fauna and biodiversity conservation. A must-visit location to fully enjoy the mountains in both summer and winter.
📍 Accessible year-round at the top of the Vallandry gondola lift (Peisey-Vallandry).
THE VANOISE BALCONY
Located at an altitude of 2,150 m, the Vanoise Balcony promises unforgettable moments where time seems to stand still. Whether you are a nature lover, a photography enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this panoramic viewpoint is the perfect place to unwind and admire the impressive scenery of the Bellecôte mountain range and the Aiguille Rousse.📍 Accessible in winter via the 2300 chairlift and in summer via the Vallandry gondola lift (Peisey-Vallandry).
The Balcony Above the Clouds (2,540 m)
🆕 New for Summer!The Balcony Above the Clouds invites you to reach new heights at the top of Transarc (2,540 m). This unique viewpoint is a true relaxation and contemplation area, offering spectacular views of the Alpine peaks from its panoramic terraces, suspended hammocks and observation binoculars.
Designed for the whole family, the site is expanding this summer with a children’s climbing wall, a slide and new cloud-shaped seating areas. Whether you're enjoying a peaceful break, a picnic with a mountain view or a fun family moment, this new space promises a unique experience high in the mountains.
📍 Accessible in both summer and winter at the top of Transarc (Arc 1800).
VARET PANORAMIC TERRACE
Get ready to be amazed! Located at an altitude of over 2,700 m, at the top of the Varet gondola lift in Arc 2000, this panoramic terrace offers one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the resort.Before you lies a spectacular mountain panorama featuring the iconic peaks of Le Roignais, Pierra Menta and the surrounding Alpine summits in all their grandeur.
📍 Accessible in both summer and winter at the top of the Varet gondola lift (Arc 2000).
An ideal stop before continuing on to the summit of Aiguille Rouge.
CARRELEY VIEWPOINT (2,380 m)
Overlooking one of the most stunning panoramas in the resort, the Carreley Viewpoint is a true invitation to relax and take in the scenery. With breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks, it is the perfect place to admire the giants of the Alps while enjoying a peaceful mountain setting.Rocking deckchairs, a panoramic swing and comfortable seating areas provide the ideal spot for a relaxing break at altitude. It is also the perfect place to capture unforgettable memories thanks to the giant LES ARCS letters, set against a spectacular mountain backdrop.
📍 Accessible in winter via the Carreley chairlift (Arc 1800) and in summer via the Bois de l’Ours chairlift (Arc 1950).
CACHETTE TAKE-OFF VIEWPOINT
Located at the top of the Cachette chairlift, the Cachette Take-Off Viewpoint is a beautifully designed lookout inviting visitors to relax, dream and explore. Overlooking the valley, this unique site offers an exceptional panorama and an atmosphere of adventure, with signposts pointing towards famous mountain peaks from around the world.A giant bench, a panoramic swing, a wind rose and a weathervane complete this special place, where visitors can take time to admire the scenery and fully appreciate the mountain environment.
📍 Accessible in both summer and winter via the Cachette chairlift (Arc 1600).
COMBORCIÈRE VIEWPOINT
Located on the slopes of Arc 2000, the Comborcière Viewpoint is the perfect place for a mountain break. This welcoming area offers the ideal setting for a picnic with a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks and Alpine landscapes.With its relaxation facilities, it is also a great spot to unwind in the sunshine before heading off on your next adventure. Accessible in both summer and winter, this viewpoint is a pleasant stop to admire the scenery and fully enjoy the mountain experience.
