Day fishing permit for a high-altitude lake
In the Upper Ponthurin Valley, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park, fishing is private.
This is an exceptional offer aimed at anglers who are also good hikers: about a one-hour walk to reach the fishing site.
3 different environments:
- Lake La Plagne
- its outlet (a large cascading mountain stream over several hundred meters)
- the meanders of Plan Bertou (former lake, beautiful peat bog area, calm waters).
To purchase a “high-altitude lake fishing” day pass, please have your fishing license number ready (enter the number with a space between each character). You will need to create an account with the Tourist Office.
You will receive a confirmation email for your purchase.
This document must be presented during a license check at the fishing site.

- Authorized days: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and public holidays.
- Day pass rate: €9 (valid for everyone, provided you hold a valid fishing license).
