The Apple Peak is a unique relay race where team spirit, pushing your limits and breathtaking scenery come together. From alpine pastures to the summit, every relay is a challenge, every stride a surge of adrenaline, with one shared goal in sight: reaching the summit together.

The course?

🏁 Start in Landry (4:30 pm) – Trail segment (750 m D+ / 3.5 km)
🔄️ Relay handover on the Vallandry snow front
🏁 Start of the ski touring segment – Piste de l'Aigle (600 m D+ / 2.5 km) with a straight uphill climb
🚩 Finish at the top of the Vallandry gondola

If VO2 max, aerobic capacity and lactic acid hold no secrets for you, if your trail running shoes are an extension of yourself, if kick turns in ski touring are your favorite playground and you never head out without your softshell jacket, then the Apple Peak is your next relay sports challenge to discover Peisey-Vallandry through the glow sweat of a spring evening!

What is the registration fee?

€40 per team (trail runner + ski tourer)
This fee includes: race bibs, a finisher gift, aid stations, access to the Vallandry gondola for participants and companions, and access to entertainment and the concert.

Is it possible to register on race day?

Yes, subject to availability (maximum 200 participants).
Race-day fee: €50 per team.
Payment on race day must be made in cash or by check.

Where can I register on race day?

Meet on the square in front of the Hotel Alpin in Landry, between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Payment must be made in cash or by check.

📍 Start in Landry (4:30 pm) – Trail segment (750 m D+ / 3.5 km) following the GR5 trail to the Vallandry snow front.

🔁 Relay handover to the ski tourers, positioned on the Vallandry snow front.

🎿 Start of the ski touring segment – Piste de l'Aigle (600 m D+ / 2.5 km) with a direct uphill climb.

🚩 Finish at the top of the Vallandry gondola

🏁 4:30 pm: Trail runners start from Landry.

🎿 5:00–6:00 pm: Relay for ski tourers for the uphill ski touring segment.

🚩 7:30 pm: Finish at the top of the Vallandry gondola (spectators can access the summit by gondola).

⬇️ Descent: Secured return by gondola for everyone (participants and spectators).

🏆 8:00 pm: Prize ceremony and concert until 10:00 pm on the snow front 🎶

Note: Time limit of 3 hours (1 hour 30 minutes per segment). If the trail runner arrives after 6:00 pm for the relay handover, the ski touring segment may still be started, but the team will be disqualified.
