Apple Peak – A relay race
In Peisey-Vallandry, you don’t just race against the clock… you take on the mountains!
The Apple Peak is a unique relay race where team spirit, self-challenge and breathtaking landscapes come together. From alpine pastures to the summit, each relay is a challenge, each stride a rush of adrenaline, all with one shared goal: reach the top as a team!

The course?
🏁Start in Landry (4:30 PM) – Trail segment (750m D+ / 3.5 km)
🔄️ Relay handover at the Vallandry snow front
🏁 Start of the ski touring segment – Aigle slope (600m D+ / 2.5 km) uphill
🚩 Finish at the top of the Vallandry gondola
If VO2 max, aerobic capacity and lactic acid hold no secrets for you, if your trail shoes are an extension of yourself, if ski touring kick turns are your playground and you never go anywhere without your softshell, then the Apple Peak is your next relay challenge to discover Peisey-Vallandry through the lights sweat of a spring evening!

What is the registration fee?
€40 per team (trail runner + ski tourer)
This includes: race bib, finisher gift, refreshments, access to the Vallandry gondola for participants and companions, as well as access to entertainment and the concert.
Is it possible to register on the day?
Yes, subject to availability (maximum 200 participants)
Race day price: €50 per team.
Payment on the day must be made in cash or by cheque.
Where to register on race day?
Meet on the village square, in front of Hotel Alpin in Landry, between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
📍 Start in Landry (4:30 PM) – Trail segment (750m elevation gain / 3.5 km) along the GR5 to the Vallandry snow front.
🔁 Relay handover at the Vallandry snow front.
🎿 Start of the ski touring segment – Aigle slope (600m elevation gain / 2.5 km) uphill.
🚩 Finish at the top of the Vallandry gondola

🎟️ 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Last chance to join the adventure! Registration in the village square in Landry.
🎽 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Bib collection and first exchanges between participants.
🔥 4:30 PM: Group warm-up followed by the start of the trail runners.
🎿 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Ski relay at the Vallandry snow front in a lively atmosphere.
🏔️ 7:30 PM: Arrival of the last competitors at the top of the gondola, followed by a group descent.
🏆🎶 8:00 PM: Prize ceremony followed by a live concert.
🌙 10:00 PM: End of the concert… and unforgettable memories!
Note: Time limit of 3 hours (1h30 per segment).
