Welcome to the top of the Vallandry gondola lift, a unique place where spectacular panoramic views, cultural discoveries and activities accessible to all come together. Here you will find everything you need for an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry ski area.

As soon as you arrive, marvel at the 360° view of the Alps. The Tarentaise Valley, the Bellecôte mountain range, the Aiguille Rousse and, in the background, the majestic Mont Blanc are all yours to enjoy.

Make yourself comfortable on the terrace equipped with deckchairs, benches and picnic tables, ideal for relaxing in the sun.

A unique high-altitude museum

Just a stone's throw from the arrival station, discover the Mountain Animal Museum. In a 120 m² space, more than 30 iconic species are on display: chamois, ibex, birds of prey and many more.

In addition to this immersion in Alpine flora and fauna, the museum offers a cabinet of local curiosities, works of art inspired by the mountains, and an exhibition dedicated to high-altitude flowers.

A cosy picnic room

After a morning of exercise or a walk in the mountains, enjoy a warm and welcoming space to savour your meal. The picnic room is designed to accommodate families and groups who wish to share a packed lunch. To round off your break, a vending machine selling local products allows you to enjoy Beaufort cheese and other Savoyard specialities on site (or to take away).

A progression area accessible to all

The top of the cable car is also the starting point for a progression area for beginners, specially designed for learning to ski. Three zones allow you to progress at your own pace:

• First slides: discover the sensations of snow.
• First turns: the basics to build confidence.
• First descents: the first real moments of skiing pleasure.

Bonus: this area is accessible to pedestrians. This means that grandparents, accompanying adults or simply curious onlookers can easily reach the area to encourage novice skiers and share this unique moment with the family.
