Refuge du Mont Pourri
Located at an altitude of 2,374 m, facing the glaciers and towering peaks of the Haute-Tarentaise, the Refuge du Mont Pourri immerses visitors in a spectacular high-mountain atmosphere. A true iconic stop in the Vanoise area, it welcomes both hikers and mountaineers eager to discover the breathtaking scenery of the Mont Pourri massif.
The refuge offers comfortable dormitories with 50 beds, a restaurant area, and a panoramic terrace overlooking the glaciers and surrounding alpine pastures. Whether choosing à la carte dining or half-board, guests can enjoy friendly mountain cuisine in an exceptional setting. During the summer season, the refuge also provides a bivouac area available by reservation.
Accessible from Rosuel or Les Arcs via several hiking trails, it is an ideal stop to explore the natural beauty of the Vanoise National Park, home to marmots, ibex and stunning glacial landscapes.
Opening period: from mid-June to mid-September (please contact the hut warden for more information). In spring, opening by reservation only.
