Due to an ongoing intense weather event, conditions across the Mountain Area are currently exceptional and require the utmost caution.🌨️ Current weather situation:
- Avalanche risk: level 5 – MAXIMUM
- Avalanche control operations (PIDA) in progress across all sectors
- Heavy snowfall ongoing
- Strong winds expected
⚠️ Update at 11:00am – FULL RESORT CLOSURE
For safety reasons, the entire ski area is closed.
The following lifts remain open:
- Arc 1800
– TC Dahu
– TC Villard
- Peisey-Vallandry
– TK Lonzagne
- Arc 2000
– TC Cabriolet
- Arc 1600
– Funicular
Conditions remain highly changeable and may lead to further adjustments at any time.
🚍 Shuttle Information
All shuttle services are currently operating.However, significant delays are to be expected due to the weather conditions.
⚠️ ATTENTION: The shuttles on route A are currently stopped until further notice.
Here again, the situation may change rapidly.

Even if the weather is unpredictable, many activities remain available so you can fully enjoy your day in Peisey-Vallandry and the surrounding area.
📍 In Peisey-Vallandry
- Municipal Library “La Récréation” (10:00am–12:00pm) => On-site reading or book borrowing + dinosaur exhibition with free access.
- Games afternoon at the Vallandry multi-purpose hall (3:00pm–7:00pm) => Board games, video games, table tennis and table football. Fun and friendly activities for all ages (free access).
- Karaoke (6:00pm–10:00pm) => Meet at Col du Palet in Landry.
- Fruitière Museum (3:00pm–6:00pm) => Free museum dedicated to local heritage.
- Well-being & creative workshops (registration required – paid) => Bio-Dynamic Relaxation (9:45am–10:45am), NLP Workshop (11:00am–1:30pm), Visual arts, drawing & painting (2:30pm–5:00pm).
- Visit to the GAEC de l’Aliet farm (5:30pm) => Free visit to discover farm life and local products.
- Cinema l’Éterlou => 2:30pm: LOL 2.0, 6:00pm: LOL 2.0, 8:30pm: L’Affaire Bojarski.
- Spa & indoor sports (paid) => Relaxation or fitness at La Vanoise, l’Emeraude, Club Med or l’Orée des Cimes.
- Sledging => In Vallandry or at the Peisey-Vallandry Nordic area (free access).
- Forest walk => Route de Barmont towards Arc 1800 (depending on weather conditions).
- Restaurants & local specialties => Take the opportunity to enjoy the region’s culinary delights.
- Shopping => Shops and boutiques are open in the resort.
- Skiing => Check live ski area updates for opening information.

- Haute-Tarentaise Dairy Cooperative Museum (10:00am–6:00pm – free)
- Immersive experience dedicated to Beaufort cheese with a view over the production room.
📍 In Montchavin-les-Coches
- Ice rink (2:00pm–8:00pm – paid) => A fun and friendly activity to enjoy with family or friends.
📍 In Aime
- Climbing gym “Rêve de bloc” (12:00pm–10:00pm – paid) => Suitable for children and adults, with drinks and light refreshments available on site.
