ENJOY THE MOUNTAINS AND AUTUMN COLOURS
Walks and hikes
Autumn is a wonderful time to explore the trails of Peisey-Vallandry. On foot, set off to discover the villages, forests and the Rosuel valley, at the gateway to Vanoise National Park.Several routes allow you to explore the destination at your own pace, from short family walks to more challenging hikes.
Good to know: in autumn, mountain conditions can change quickly. Before setting off, remember to check the weather forecast and adapt your route to the current conditions.
Geocaching: go on a treasure hunt!
What if your walk turned into a treasure hunt?
Geocaching in Peisey-Vallandry is available all year round. Using the Geocaching® app, follow the coordinates and clues to find caches hidden throughout the area.
Disc Golf
Make the most of the Disc Golf course until 1 November.
The principle is simple: just like golf, the aim is to complete each hole in as few throws as possible, but here the ball is replaced by a disc and the hole by a basket.
The Peisey-Vallandry course has 6 holes and is free to use. Discs can also be borrowed from the Village Tourist Office.
GET ACTIVE AND ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Make the most of the beautiful autumn days to get outdoors and stay active!Many activities remain available, so you can enjoy the mountains to the fullest before winter.

Tree-top adventure course
Reach new heights before winter! The tree-top adventure course remains open by reservation until the end of the All Saints’ school holidays, subject to opening conditions.

Climbing & Via Ferrata
Fancy some vertical adventure? Climbing and via ferrata outings can be organised with the mountain guides on request.
Outings are adapted to the current conditions and must be booked in advance.

Paragliding
Take to the skies and admire the colours of the valley from above. Paragliding flights are available all year round on request, depending on weather conditions.

Tennis, multi-sports court & beach volleyball
Fancy getting active? The tennis courts, multi-sports court and beach volleyball court remain accessible until the end of November, as long as conditions allow.

Pétanque
The pétanque courts remain freely accessible until the snow arrives. A great way to enjoy the beautiful autumn days with a game among family or friends.

Playgrounds
The various playgrounds remain accessible all year round, allowing younger visitors to enjoy the great outdoors too.

Aime lake
Just a few kilometres from Peisey-Vallandry, Aime lake remains accessible for a walk or a relaxing break by the water.
Please note: swimming is not supervised at this time of year.

Electric bikes
The roads and trails throughout the valley can also be explored by electric bike. It’s a great way to enjoy the autumn scenery and travel between the different villages of Peisey-Vallandry.However, make sure you check the weather conditions and the condition of the trails at this time of year.
Bike rides with Avélo
Avélo remains available throughout autumn on request. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a guided ride and discover the area by bike, depending on conditions and availability.TAKE THE TIME TO DISCOVER THE LOCAL HERITAGE
Autumn is also the perfect time to discover the history and heritage of the valley at your own pace.
Musée de la Fruitière
Discover the local history and heritage of Peisey-Nancroix at the Musée de la Fruitière. The museum is open during the All Saints’ school holidays, from Monday to Thursday, from 3 pm to 6 pm.Notre-Dame des Vernettes Chapel
A must-see heritage site in Peisey-Vallandry, the Notre-Dame des Vernettes Chapel can also be visited in autumn. Open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.The chapels of Peisey
Continue exploring the area’s religious heritage with the various chapels of Peisey, open every day.You can combine your visit with a walk between the different hamlets and villages.
