A Mountain Celebration This Fall!
For the past five years, the Xplore Alpes Festival has been bringing the Tarentaise region to life in the fall. Organized by a local nonprofit and a team of passionate volunteers, the festival celebrates the mountains in all their forms: adventure, culture, discussions, and gatherings.
On the program:
Mountain, adventure, and outdoor films, presented by their directors and protagonists.
Talks and roundtable discussions to reflect on the major challenges facing the mountains: transition, tourism, mobility…
A friendly and festive atmosphere, brought to life by locals and volunteers: screenings, meet-and-greets, activities, music, and moments of togetherness in the villages of the Tarentaise.
More than just a festival, Xplore is a unique gathering to marvel, find inspiration, and imagine together the mountains of tomorrow.
This year, the adventure begins in Aime-la-Plagne (roundtable discussion + opening film).

October 24 at 8:00 p.m.: Opening Night “Les Hautes Heures,” “Cold Was the Ground,” and “Mer de Glace” at the Aime Theater and Cinema
October 25 at 4:00 p.m.: Screening of “My Friend Barry… A Wonderful Adventure" at the Aime Theater and Cinema
October 25 at 6:00 p.m.: Screening of "Dare or Not" and "The World’s Tallest Women" at the La Côte d’Aime Community Center
October 25 at 8:00 p.m. : Screenings of "Symon—The Brush of the Peaks," "A Day to Begin," and "Those Up Above" at the La Côte d’Aime Community Center
October 26 at 8:00 p.m. : Screening of “A on rythme,” “Viva Verdon,” and “Le radeau des glaces” at the Macot community center
October 29 at 8:00 p.m.: Screening of “La voix des Andes” and “A 3000mères du monde” at the Centron community center
October 29 at 6:30 p.m.: Talk on “Youth and New Narratives” with Mountain Change Makers at the Bellentre Municipal Hall
