🎉 Xplore Alpes Festival: celebrating the mountains this fall!
Come and discover the mountains from every angle at the Xplore Alpes Festival, taking place across the communities of the Tarentaise Valley!
The Xplore Alpes Festival is a friendly and welcoming event inviting you to explore the heart of the Tarentaise Valley through:
Outdoor and adventure sports films, presented in the presence of the protagonists.
An Academy, offering activities supervised by professionals in their respective disciplines.
Talks and discussions to reflect on and exchange ideas about the mountains, their current challenges and those to come.
The Village, featuring brands, creators, associations, a dedicated area for young people, concerts and DJ sets to enjoy the evenings with family and friends.
Founded in 2021, the Xplore Alpes Festival takes place every year during the first week of the All Saints’ school holidays, right in the heart of the Alps, in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie.
With a selection of nearly 100 films in competition and renowned guests from the mountain world, the festival aims to celebrate and showcase the world of outdoor sports, adventure and the mountains. Each year, a jury of professionals awards 10 prizes to the best productions.
Once the festival is over, the best films go on tour under the Xplore Film Tour label.

VIAGHJU BIANCU
Alexandre De Susini and a fellow mountaineer set out on a unique ski traverse of Corsica: crossing the island from north to south in a single day via the Alta Strada. An adventure imagined as a journey through the heart of the Corsican mountains, combining commitment, wild landscapes and the discovery of a still little-known mountain range.

A human and inclusive adventure in the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas. Accompanied by explorer Arnaud Chassery, 17 young people, both able-bodied and living with disabilities, take on the challenge of climbing Mount Toubkal, at 4,167 m. Among them, Abdellah, who has had both legs amputated, and Malak, a young woman who is blind, reach the summit. Directed by Adrien Jolly, this film highlights the strength of the group and the ability to overcome differences.

SIMON AND US
At the age of 25, trail runner Simon Paccard takes on a personal challenge: crossing the Aravis mountains while attempting to set a record. From the Pierra Menta to the CCC, the film follows a pivotal year in his journey, but above all his daily life and the people around him. A sporting adventure told through the eyes of those who know him best, where performance ultimately becomes a collective story. Directed by Antonin Claude.

Eight years after his tragic disappearance, family members and former teammates pay tribute to David Poisson, a leading figure in French downhill skiing and bronze medallist at the 2013 World Championships. Nicknamed “Kaillou” (“Rock”) for his resilience and strong character, this Savoyard skier from Peisey-Nancroix is portrayed through the eyes of those who knew him, in a documentary that delves into the heart of downhill skiing and the radiant personality of this athlete. Directed by Thibault Payré.
