This itinerary bears witness to the transition from the era of pastoralism to the era of ski resorts in the Arcs valley. You will alternate between rural and natural areas and resorts with unique architecture: Peisey-Vallandry, Arc 1600, Arc 1800 and Arc 2000.
Each one has its own specificities linked to its history and its environment. The resorts of Les Arcs have been awarded the "Patrimoine du 20ème siècle" (20th century heritage) label, which is used to highlight remarkable architectural achievements.
